Therapy focused around you
What do I offer?
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or for your own professional development, I provide a safe, neuro-affirming space to explore, understand, and move through life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or like you don’t fit into society’s boxes, you’re not alone. I’ll work with you to better understand yourself, your needs, and your strengths. You are enough. Here are some of the things I am able to help with.

As an integrative counsellor and neurodivergent therapist, I bring together many years of experience across education as a counsellor, teacher, and Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Drawing on approaches such as Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transpersonal, and CBT, I offer a safe space to slow down, be heard, and feel understood — tailored to you.
Many clients describe a sense of weight lifting, things beginning to shift, and feeling more empowered and able to cope.

Testimonials
“Karen offered a gentle ear in a way that let me feel comfortable and has let me consider aspects of myself that had remained hidden. She explored difficult topics with care and is supportive and friendly, making it easy to talk openly.”
"I found Karen to be an excellent listener, with a warm and friendly approach. I valued counselling sessions with Karen because she was attentive, and never judgmental and this helped me to feel safe and supported. I felt able to share my most difficult (and painful) issues with Karen and I always felt listened to and understood."
"Karen has a way of just knowing what I'm feeling. I feel supported and understood. I felt safe to just let go and talk about stuff that had been difficult for me and I've, as a result, become aware and learnt so much about myself."
